PRIVACY POLICY

The short version: your video never leaves your device. YelloCap has no accounts, no uploads, no analytics, and no ads. We couldn't sell your data if we wanted to — we don't have it.

What happens on your device (and stays there)

Your videos are opened and rendered entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Your captions and settings exist only in your browser session.
Your license key, if you enter one, is stored in your browser's localStorage so you stay activated between visits. You can remove it anytime via the license dialog.

The only data that travels

License validation: when you activate or use a membership, your license key (and nothing else) is sent over HTTPS to our validation service, which checks it with Whop, the merchant that sold you the membership. We cache positive results briefly to keep this fast. We do not log keys in URLs.
Serving the site: our host (Cloudflare) processes standard connection data (like your IP address) to deliver the pages, as every website's host does.
Fonts: caption fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when fonts are fetched, subject to Google's privacy policy.

Purchases

Memberships are sold by Whop. Whop handles your payment details and account under Whop's privacy policy — we never see your payment information.

Cookies and tracking

We set no cookies, run no analytics, and embed no trackers or ad scripts. A strict Content-Security-Policy blocks third-party scripts from running on the site at all.

Data requests

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete. Whop holds your purchase records; deletion requests for those go to Whop. Anything else, ask us.
